DOUGH was born in October 2009, but was forged a couple of decades earlier in the fires of a pizza oven on Saturna Island, British Columbia.
Our focus is artisanal BREAD & PASTRY, but over the years we have expanded to include a wide variety of homemade goods including fresh soups, take-home meals, salads, savoury and sweet pies, custom buttercream cakes, fruit tarts, cookies, squares and bars, quiche, pizza, gluten-free treats, as well as our ever-more-popular breakfast sandwiches.
We bake our goods in plain site, and are committed to the use of local and organic ingredients where possible. We are passionate about community and small scale food production, as well as food waste and single-use plastic reductions -- alongside a good cup of coffee! We are a proud member of the 'DANFORTH REDUCES' campaign. We object to bottled water and plastic bags, and love it when people bring their own totes or flasks.
