Week Eleven Heat Wave Heaven

G'day Friends! Heading into this blazing hot week with STRAWBERRY CREAMSICLE CUPCAKES, POP TARTS, and GOURMET NUT BURGERS for the BBQ! Plus CHICKEN BURRITOS to take to the cottage, and fresh batches of TUNA CASSEROLE and VEGGIE CHILI (also great cottage or citycottage meals). Sterling butter for sale with a few cartons of heritage eggs left in the fridge! Mama T-Bomb in the kitchen again, so you know it's gonna to be good. Seems to be a popular moment for Birthdays, so if you need a CAKE, let us know at least 2 days ahead. As the heat rises in the kitchen, we need extra time for cake decorating because the buttercream straight up melts. We're still working on our regular menu items, but hoping to start offering salads again - as soon as we can :)

How to PLACE an ORDER

We are still accepting walk-ins, 2 at a time inside the shop.

Alternatively, you can PREORDER for CONTACTLESS pickup.

While pre-ordering is not necessary for all orders,

it is always a good idea if you are in need of something specific.

ie. a whole bunch of pastry, a certain kind of bread, a quiche, a pie, or a cake!

• Your full name

• Your phone number

• Your desired pickup date*

• If you would like your bread sliced

• Upon receipt, we will get back to you regarding payment and pickup time

Are you a first time customer? Please note:

* Pickups are currently available Wednesday through Sunday as we are now CLOSED Monday & Tuesday. Your initial email message does not guarantee receipt of your order as we require 24 hours to process. For best results, send your order in before 3pm the day before your desired pickup. For CAKE ORDERS, please allow at least 2 days notice. Beyond this, we will process same-day preorders *if* we can.

Menu FAQ

What are the prices and serving sizes?

Soups • 1L Jars range in price from $13.00 (veggie) - $15.00 (meat or gourmet) • Made in house with homemade stocks, fresh produce and herbs (organic as much as possible), hormone-free local Ontario meat, and low salt • Take home, heat, and season to taste!

Pasta Sauces • 1L Jars range in price from $15.00 - $18.95 • Made in house with organic Italian tomatoes, fresh herbs, and hormone-free local Ontario meat.

Oven-Ready Frozen Meals

LARGE [3 regular servings] range in price from $16.00-$23.95

SMALL [1 reg, 2 small servings] range in price from $10.00-$13.00

• All meals are made in house (like everything else) using the same ethos as our soups • Vegan and vegetarian options • Thaw in fridge overnight and bake.

Bread • Our loaves are our bread and butter so to speak • We bake them with love the old fashioned and slow way, without any preservatives or stabilizers • They range in price from $4.00-$6.00

Can I freeze the pizza dough?

You can! It's best to use it fresh, but it does freeze pretty well too.

In other news:

• Our shopfront is undergoing some changes this week, please follow our signage and allow SPACE (6 ft) while you wait for your order.

• Our small staff does not wear masks at all times while working (because of the temperature in the shop), but we ask that you do.

• Our delivery service is suspended until further notice

• We still offer contactless pickup at our window - please let us know if you require this service :)
