HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
We are still accepting walk-ins (2 at a time inside the shop).
Alternatively, you can PREORDER for CONTACTLESS pickup.
While pre-ordering is not necessary, it is always a good idea
if you are in need of something specific. ie. a whole bunch of pastry,
a certain kind of bread, a quiche, a pie, or, especially, a cake!

*Are you a first time customer? Please note: Pickups are currently available Wednesday through Sunday as we are now CLOSED Monday & Tuesday. Your initial email message does not guarantee receipt of your order as we require 24 hours to process. For best results, send your order in before 3pm the day before your desired pickup. Beyond this, we will process same-day preorders *if* we can.
*IF YOU WANT A CAKE, please give us at least 2 days notice! It's cake season (apparently), so please get your order in well before the day you want it!

News:
Well, it's been a week folks... Not much to report except that we are trying to reintroduce salads, and good old deli sandwiches. This week we're starting with a pasta pesto pea salad, a creamy chickpea salad, and a slaw. If you have a past favourite (namely salad-wise) that you would be happy to see return, let me know :)

How does a contactless / curb side pickup work?
Send in your order before 3pm the day before pickup
In your order message, let us know that you require contactless
Pay via credit card over the phone
Pickups are between 2:00pm and 4:00pm Wednesday through Sunday
Just let us know when you are outside and we will either drop it to you through our front window, or, if need be, we will bring it to your car
[We are a tiny shop, and everyone is currently wearing multiple hats, so if you're able to come to the window, that helps us out a great deal]
Ideally your order reaches a $20.00 minimum
Can I have more info about your meals, prices, and serving sizes?
We make everything in house, from scratch, in small batches, using fresh and often organic ingredients (The only exceptions being our bagels, dips, preserves, and other grocery items -- lovingly sourced from The Bagel House, Farmer's Pantry, Catherine's preserves, Murray's Heritage Farm, I Deal Coffee, Sloane Tea Company and a few other seasonal suppliers). A bit more info on serving size and price: Soups • 1L Jars range in price from $13.00 (veggie) - $15.00 (meat or gourmet) • Made in house with homemade stocks, fresh produce and herbs (organic as much as possible), hormone-free local Ontario meat, and low salt • Take home, heat, and season to taste!
Pasta Sauces • 1L Jars range in price from $15.00 - $18.95 • Made in house with organic Italian tomatoes, fresh herbs, and hormone-free local Ontario meat.
Oven-Ready Frozen Meals LARGE [3 regular servings] range in price from $16.00-$23.95 SMALL [1 reg, 2 small servings] range in price from $10.00-$13.00 • All meals are made in house (like everything else) using the same ethos as our soups • Vegan and vegetarian options • Thaw in fridge overnight and bake.
Bread • Our loaves are our bread and butter so to speak • We bake them with love the old fashioned way -- slow and without any preservatives or stabilizers • They range in price from $4.00-$6.00 • You can always order your favourites, or request something new and we'll see what we can do!
Do you sell yeast or sourdough starter? No sorry. If we did, we'd have none left :) Can I freeze the pizza dough?
You can! It's best to use it fresh, but it does freeze pretty well too. How often do you get eggs delivered? As often as we can! Murray's Farm is having a hard time keeping up with the covid egg demand -- city-wide. We usually get them every other week, but they are selling out at a rapid pace so we are limiting eggs to 1 carton per customer.
